Refund and Cancellation Policy

Last Updated: April 30, 2026

This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how ExaQuent handles cancellations, rescheduling, missed appointments, and refunds for booked services.

1. General Policy

Because ExaQuent provides time-based professional services, booked time is reserved specifically for the client. Refund eligibility depends on the type of engagement purchased, the timing of the cancellation, and whether the service has already been delivered or partially delivered.

2. Scheduled Sessions

For one-time booked sessions, clients may request to reschedule or cancel in accordance with the booking terms presented at checkout or in the booking confirmation.

If a cancellation is made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session, the client may receive either:

- A full refund
- A credit toward a future booking
- A rescheduled session

If a cancellation is made less than 24 hours before the scheduled session, ExaQuent may treat the booking as non-refundable, partially refundable, or eligible only for rescheduling, depending on the engagement and the circumstances.

3. Exploratory Calls or Exploratory Sessions

Exploratory bookings may be rescheduled or canceled according to the same time window described above unless otherwise stated at booking.

If exploratory bookings are offered at no charge, missed appointments may not be refunded or credited because no payment was collected, but ExaQuent may limit repeated no-shows or repeated rebooking.

4. No-Shows

If a client does not attend a scheduled service and does not provide notice within the required cancellation window, the appointment may be treated as a no-show.

No-shows may:

- Be non-refundable
- Count against prepaid hours
- Require a new booking to continue

5. Retainer, Prepaid, or Ongoing Arrangements

For prepaid hours, retainers, recurring arrangements, or longer-term advisory/coaching relationships, refund treatment should be clearly disclosed before purchase, including any material terms about billing frequency, cancellation deadlines, and unused time. FTC guidance on recurring arrangements emphasizes clear disclosure of material terms and easy cancellation.

ExaQuent may offer:

- No refund after a retainer or package begins
- Partial refunds for unused prepaid time
- Future credit instead of refund
- Cancellation effective at the end of the current billing or service period

6. Work Already Performed

Refunds are generally not available for time already used, services already delivered, work already performed, or partially completed engagements unless ExaQuent determines otherwise in its discretion or applicable law requires otherwise.

7. How to Request a Change

To cancel, reschedule, or request a refund, contact ExaQuent using the booking confirmation, cancellation link, reschedule link, or the contact information on this website.

Please include:

- Your name
- Booking date and time
- Service and engagement name
- Reason for the request

8. Exceptions

ExaQuent may make exceptions in limited circumstances, including technical issues, scheduling errors, emergencies, or other situations where flexibility is reasonably appropriate.

9. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you believe there is a billing error, contact ExaQuent first so the issue can be reviewed and, where appropriate, resolved directly.
